From the lovely bride … We wanted to mix essences of Japanese and Thai culture in our wedding to represent our cultural background. Cherry blossom was used as the main decoration to fill the tall loft space, symbolizing the beginning of Spring in Japan.  We also used white orchids, which is common in Thai weddings, for the boutonnière and bride’s hairpiece. In the ceremony, we incorporated sake exchange and presented orchids to our parents. We were happy to be able to incorporate our current life together in New York City with both our cultures and traditions of Japan and Thailand.
