There is just something about Saddlerock Ranch. A place I most definitely need to see with my very own eyes at some point, because the pretty parties that parade out of that Malibu venue are just to die. Seriously, they are beyond. But when Amber Events is holding the styling reins and Picotte Weddings is holding the camera – the wedding just gets that much more unbelieveable. From Amber Events…. High school sweethearts Jaci and Nick wanted a romantic, whimsical, private and natural venue to celebrate their wedding. Malibu Family Wines Saddlerock Ranch fit that description perfectly! When guests arrived, they enjoyed lemonade under a large weeping willow with photos of the bride and groom hung from the branches. The elegant processional for the family members, 10 groomsmen, 10 bridesmaids wearing Melissa Sweet dresses, four flower girls and two ring bearers, was to a song that Jaci’s sister Hannah composed and recorded. Jaci, wearing a Watters dress, was escorted down the aisle by her father to a song that was also composed by Hannah. The ceremony culminated with the newlyweds taking communion together as husband and wife. Guests enjoyed the cocktail hour as the sun went down, gathered their escort cards that were strung on twine between two trees, then were escorted to the reception, where long tables set under chandeliers and twinkle light-laden oak trees waited. The tables were adorned with bud vases and tarnished silver containers filled with succulents, soft blooms and vintage style white lanterns that were set atop custom made burlap runners trimmed with soft yellow satin. After the bridal party was brought in with a fun song playing for each couple, dinner was served family style and flowed smoothly between heartfelt toasts and laughter. A photo booth, a late night snack of gelato, and dancing, dancing, dancing kept the 220 guests in a state of pure celebration.
