From the Bride... Having been born in Indonesia, raised in Singapore and now living in Australia, we felt the need to return home to celebrate this rebirth as a married couple. Glenn was born in Irian Jaya, the eastern-most state with its beautiful virgin beaches, crystal waters and abundant marine life — a Mecca for underwater photographers. Angelin comes from Palembang in the western corner of this great archipelago. Hence deciding on beautiful Bali in central Java was a symbol of our union between east and west.
We chose the southern most tip of Bali island, Uluwatu, to celebrate this occasion due in part to the calmness of the vast Indian Ocean backed by the serenity of a magnificent sunset. This serves as a symbol of the end of our single hood and beginning of our life as one being. Tirtha Bali was the perfect place for this union. Having an outdoor wedding, we were indeed blessed with the great weather, and most of all, the attendance of our loved ones and close friends. The pictures speak for themselves. It was a celebration in the truest sense, and everyone felt a buzz in the air that night. The location, the time, the setting and the people involved all blended together, giving it a magic as we have never experienced before. And kudos to Tinydot Photography and Simplemotion video, who were able to capture those precious moments for eternity!
