I love how this Sydney bride describes her wedding - it had an intimate "country feel while also having all the trimmings of a city wedding". That's exactly why I adore it so much. From the Bride... Getting ready in the morning, I was excited and felt like a little girl playing dress-up with my friends, only to realise that this was, in fact, reality, and I was about to marry the man of my dreams. As I started getting ready, all those months of preparation had paid off, with everything planed just falling into place. Arriving at the church, I was emotional. This church has seen many ups and downs in my life and has a very big family significance. With Adam waiting at the other end, I had to use all my will power not to run down the aisle to see him. This was that moment I had dreamed of and being surrounded by the love of our friends and family just made it so memorable.
Growing up on an acreage, I have a love of the rustic country atmosphere, and when deciding on a reception place, it was a big influencing factor. Belgenny Farm in Camden was the perfect place to fill all our wishes. We were able to have the country intimate feel while also having all the trimmings of a city wedding. My family were a great help when creating little features to help create the elegant country feel we were going for, and our florist just made the room come to life. The night is one Adam and I will remember forever. The speeches had us all falling off our seat with laughter and created the party atmosphere that took over the night. To help, we had an amazing live band, Duck and Cover, who had everyone off their seats and danced the night away. So many memories...
