I’m totally digging this adorable couple’s old fashioned sense of style. It’s simple, timeless, oh-so-pretty and filled with fun props like Coca-Cola in glass bottles, an old white pick up truck, and two vintage bicycles. The river rocks, wet feet and super sweet kisses totally melt my heart. Coati Photography nailed it with this one and we’re so glad we get to share it with you! From the Bride-to-Be… The inspiration for our engagement pictures initially was thought of by my sweet fiance! I love to listen to Johnny Cash on my grandmother’s record player, and some would say I’m old fashioned, so I was more than thrilled to hear that he wanted to wear a bow tie and fedora. My dad loves to restore classic cars, and it just so happened that he finished the inside of my brother’s ’49 Ford truck right before our pictures. There is a beautifully simple picture of my grandparents next to their 1940’s pickup truck that I wanted to re-create. Evelyn and Doyle were two simple Texas farmers who loved each other faithfully for 48 years. We wanted a vintage, classic feel to the pictures, which our photographer captured perfectly. We can’t wait to celebrate our big day in the heart of Austin with friends and family. “We got married in a fever, hotter than a pepper sprout!”
