Homer Farm Wedding by CWF Photography

Hot boiled peanuts and cider have never looked so lovely and inviting. But then, Melanie Hernquist of Lucky + Lovely has a way of crafting the prettiest of affairs with a big ol’ dose of personality. Everything about this shindig is Southern in the best, “butter my butt and call me a biscuit” way. See if you can find that sassy quote tucked away in all the wonderment that is CWF Photography’s images. It’s all sitting pretty right here!

From CWF PhotographyCarly and Richard celebrated their love with family and friends at a gorgeous farm wedding in North Georgia. Carly knew exactly what she wanted : A chic Southern wedding, complete with fried chicken, bow ties, and her favorite snack: hot boiled peanuts. Carly’s family owns a beautiful property, complete with horses, chickens and a main house that looks like its out of the pages of Southern Living. Carly included only the best vendors to make her childhood wedding day dreams come true. The details of the day were perfect, down to the biscuit in a bag favors, boiled peanut snacks topped with paper bow ties, glass-bottled beverages, cotton bow-ties, and a chandelier entry way to the porta-potties! It was filled with pure southern love!

From the Bride… We dreamed our big day would be fun and relaxing with all the southern comforts of home from boiled peanuts and sweet tea to fried chicken, black-eyed peas, collards, whipped potatoes and pies for dessert! It was an easy decision to have the wedding at my parent’s farm just NE of Atlanta. It was the ideal spot for our both our families and friends to come share this special time with us. It was wonderful, and the weather couldn’t have been better!
