From Emily Delamater Photography... Artichoke, moss and cabbage bouquets, lace overlay, birch bark, a venue straight out of a Hemingway novel, dark wood, quirky centerpieces, and the coming together of a British and an American family. When Katherine contacted me to inquire about photographing her wedding, I was so excited! She and Tim live in Oxfordshire, England, where Tim is from, but they decided to have the wedding in Maine near Katherine's family. Tim is in a ska band — they actually met at one of his shows — so great music and a relaxed atmosphere were really important to the couple. A rockabilly band played original tunes and Johnny Cash all through the night, occasionally lending the mic to the groom or one of his many musical guests. It was a favorite of mine from the season — such a great environment, such fun and unique details, such a fantastic couple.
