From the Bride... Planning my wedding was so much fun — it allowed me to be creative in a variety of ways! Our wedding was held on my father's 180 acre "farm," known as Hunting Creek Farm, in Easton, Maryland, off of the Miles River. I spent much of my childhood there, and long before I met my husband, Dan, I knew that no other place would top this location for a wedding site. Our theme was simple: a rustic, backyard wedding. Flowers, details and day-of planning were provided by Joe Ennd and his team at Joe Ennd Designs. My dress was the Arabelle gown from J.Crew, lightweight and perfect. My shoes were vintage gold Tory Burch Reva flats — comfortable and easy to wear in the grass. Jewelry was Kate Spade. My Bridesmaids wore a simple, strapless, cotton Cady dress with pockets from J.Crew. Their necklaces were a gift from me and were from J.Crew as well. Our day, down to the smallest detail, was captured by the incredible Shelby Leigh Photography.
