I’m loving how this adorable couple recreated their Christmas Eve picnic (when he popped the big question) for their engagement photos. The light and love that was captured between them by Julie Cate Photography is absolutely gorgeous. The mix of props, posed positions and candids is total E-session perfection in my book. From the Bride-to-Be… The first time Jed spoke to me was two years during a college class we shared. He was sitting in front of me, turned around and asked me out to lunch. After dreaming about talking to him all year, I can only imagine what my face looked like! Ultimately, I said no, but he didn’t give up. After much persistence, he finally got me to go on a first date … to New Orleans! His grand and romantic gestures have yet to cease, and Jed proposed to me this past year with a morning picnic on the eve of my favorite holiday, Christmas. After two years of dating, falling more in love each and every day and knowing we want to spend the rest of our lives continuing to grow in that love, our wedding is just around the corner! We chose to celebrate our engagement at Kingsley Plantation in Jacksonville, Florida. Surrounded by the water, trees, and rustic landmarks it was the perfect spot to celebrate our love! We are planning an intimate December wedding of this year in St. Augustine surrounded by close family and friends.
