Each year, Jose's workshop is held at the Hacienda El Carmen in Jalisco, Mexico...a hidden gem that I'm convinced has magical powers. Tait and I made the trip last year to speak and it was beyond anything we could have expected. The space itself is a piece of modern day history, sans televisions and chaos, with the most spectacular food a girl could ever wish for and a spa that would put any to shame. Brides, I'm talking to you. It's an awesome place to hold an intimate wedding that your guests will always remember.
Aside from the general amazingness, photographers will have the opportunity to attend a series of workshops headed up by some of the most loved in the business...designer Lisa Vorce, floral & designer Mindy Rice, Beauty Expert Mar Romero and wardrobe styling by Joy Thigpen. Inspiration Guru and Artist Karina Puente, Cinematographer Joel Serrato, The Bride's Guide Editor Shira Savada and a very excited Abby Larson (me). Plus, they will learn the genius behind Jose himself as he takes photographers through his process and teaches them the little moments that have made his artistry and his business so successful.
