Some days all I need is a sweet, classic wedding to get me going. Something with gorgeous white flowers, a stunning bride in a gorgeous Oscar De La Renta ball gown. Men in tuxedos, candlelit receptions, five tier cakes. Keely Thorne Events and Chris Bailey Photography were there for me this time, when I decided I simply needed a gorgeous wedding and some fantastic images. If you’re on the same page, you won’t want to miss ALL the gorg happening in the gallery!

From Keely Thorne Events … Even though June 2011 in Houston was one of the hottest months on record it didn’t stop Caroline from having the elegant, classic and cool summer wedding she had been dreaming of all of her life. With the help of her personal interior decorator, her mom Melinda Overstreet, Caroline created a breathtaking French inspired wedding deep in the heart of Houston. The ceremony at St. Martin’s Episcopal Church started off an elegant evening of sophistication and style. The reception, held at River Oaks Country Club, was the perfect backdrop for the reception of Caroline and Andrew’s dreams. Everything was themed off of her families roots in Louisiana and their French heritage. From the Southern food stations to beignets and cafe au lait at the end of the night there was a true French elegance that flowed throughout the reception!
