Sydney Engagement Session at Centennial Park by MMG Photo + Cinema

After originally deciding to opt out of an engagement pics, one meeting with the the oh-so-talented MMG Photo + Cinema and these Sydney lovebirds had a total change of heart.  The result?  A fabulous day filled with glorious images, a beyond charming picnic and whole lot of F.U.N.  I'm dying over every last love-filled photo, the serious chicness (hello bow tie!) and those sweet, sweet chalkboard messages.  Oh, and that breathtaking park setting?  BEYOND.  See it all here.

From the Bride-to-Be... Initially, Joseph and I weren't planning on having an engagement shoot. We wanted a simple, relaxed wedding preparation experience and could do without too much fuss. But after meeting the fantastic people at MMG Photography in Sydney, we decided to give the e-shoot a go, and we're so glad that we did. It actually gave us a lot more confidence in preparation of the wedding day.

We cannot remember the last time we had so much fun in front of the camera. We came up with the concept of having a picnic, using a mix of borrowed items from friends, a few knick-knacks from my collection, gifts from my sisters and lots of research at Style Me Pretty! A lot of the ideas also came from friends who were more excited than us about the picnic e-shoot concept. We wanted to showcase the beautiful Australian flora, and the park was enough backdrop for our shoot. We only needed very minimal props — for us, the grass, trees, the sky and even the little critters and spiders at Centennial Park in Sydney all created our natural studio for us. We only live a few minutes away from the park but have never discovered this little patch of gem in the park, hidden away from the public! The place was absolutely stunning, and we were giggling throughout the whole picnic. We were glad to be blessed with such beautiful surroundings, and we cannot wait for more gorgeous Australian landscape as we say "I do" in May 2012!
