And now for some behind the scenes goodness from Seaglass Cinema…
From Wedding Nouveau… For the fourth issue of Wedding Nouveau magazine, I knew we had to go big or go home. Recently, I’d seen that Chanel “Paris-to-Bombay” collection, which quite honestly took my breath away … and so the inspiration for our spring cover shoot was born.
Often times we see multicultural events steeped in vibrant colors. Believe me, I’m a fan of color. But I wondered — is it possible to have a multi-cultural event that’s muted? Instead of reds, pinks and oranges, could you pull it off in beige, creams and soft classic colors? I knew I couldn’t do it on my own, so I got together the ultimate style theme to pull off what would become our Parisian Souk-inspired cover, influenced by a fictional Moroccan Studio owned by Ms. Coco, herself…with a little fun and flirtiness of course. So the stage was set. Inspired by luscious Moroccan patterns, Middle Eastern textiles and Parisian tailoring, we had a ball putting it all together for the spring cover, and I couldn’t have asked for a more cohesive style team.
