From Kristen of Kristen Wynn PhotographyDeidra and Andres chose to celebrate their early spring nuptials with a hint of vintage Miami with the theme “Grand Fete.” Deidra’s gown was handmade by her grandma and was tea-length, allowing her to show off her green shoes. After the ceremony was over, she switched her veil for a handmade reception fascinator crafted from feathers. Bright green and sunny yellow were the colors of choice, and the guest transportation (school buses) fit right in with their look. The bridesmaids chose their own gowns, while the groomsmen donned their own suits. The groom accessorized with a watch gifted to him by his father, but before he got dressed in a brand new suit himself, he and the groomsmen had some fun modeling Panamanian masks that represent Andres’ family heritage. At the reception, the guests found small colorful flags handmade by Deidra and used them to welcome the couple as they entered the room and danced their first dance to an old-fashioned swing number.
