From the Bride... Jonathan and I met in New York City while we were both enrolled in graduate school. A work opportunity came up in Malibu, California, and we decided to make the move to the west coast together. From the moment we arrived, we fell in love with our new surroundings, and when he proposed, we were excited to share our new part of the country with our friends and families from back home. We chose the Malibou Lake Mountain Club because its gentle surroundings reminded us of the places we grew up. The venue turned out to be a great choice. The night was as elegant and fun as we could have wished for, and the staff were happy to accommodate all of our special requests. Instead of using champagne, we served my family's traditional punch for the toast, and we even had vodka shots with pickle juice chasers at the bar to continue a tradition among Jonathan and his friends. In the end, the venue set the perfect tone for us to enjoy every aspect of our wedding! It was amazing!
