From Jane + Mike of IRIS Photography… This was a preppy, relaxed, country wedding in a classic New England Main Street church in Farmington, Connecticut, with the reception at Hill-Stead Museum. The bride and her father took a horse-drawn carriage from their art-filled home on the same Main Street, past Miss Porter’s School where she attended, to arrive at church. Afterward, everyone made their way just up the hill to Hill-Stead for parasols, croquet and cocktails in the sunken garden. The bride wore a cool asymmetrical dress, and the wedding featured plenty of pink … in the name cards, bridesmaids’ dresses, guys’ bow ties, guests’ dresses and especially the abundant flowers.
