From the Bride... Because we had so many guests traveling from interstate and around the world, we wanted our wedding to be a big catch-up for everyone rather than a formal gathering. We wanted our guests who had all travelled so far to have a huge celebration. Any inspiration came from browsing wedding photographer blogs (and blogs like SMP!). Because we didn't have a sit-down meal, we decided the guests might need a bit of "entertainment," so we decided to have Mad Libs (which was binding as our guest book) and a Polaroid photo booth. As there wasn't a lot of structure to the day/evening, our flowers also reflected this. Our florist specialises in having large bunches of eclectic flowers with scattered candles. We also were married on St. Patrick's Day (because of the groom's heritage), so we had a slight Celtic/Irish theme. Florals were all white/ivory with a lot of green foliage to bring out that theme.
