Wine Country Wedding by Christina Diane Wedding Photography

I know in my heart of hearts that this couple is insanely fun to be around. One look at the images by Christina Diane Wedding Photography, and it’s totally evident. Big smiles, loads of laughter and a crazy stylish wedding to boot. A wedding almost completely hand-crafted by the Bride. A wedding that had mad libs at each place setting <-so crazy cool. A wedding with centerpieces by Studio Choo that literally took our breath away. A wedding with so many great images, I nearly broke my 15 board record. That good, people, that good. Hunker down in the gallery for so much more from this DIY masterpiece.

From Christina of Christina Diane Wedding PhotographyA beautiful, intimate wedding with a ceremony at Hans Fahden Winery and the reception at Alpha Omega. The bride really out-did herself in this almost completely DIY wedding. She hand-made all of her invitations, had sweet letters for all her guests when they arrived, made name tags out of wire and wine corks and even made a fun “mad libs” game for her guests. This wedding was an intimate affair with 30 of her closest family and friends!

From the Bride… If you don’t have a day-of planner, make sure to have a family member or good friend who isn’t part of your wedding party or group photos clued in on all aspects of your wedding. It’ll save you a lot of stress if vendors and guests have a go-to person other than the bride to ask questions and verify timing throughout the day. If you have troublesome guests, choose a point person (a best friend or close family member) to keep an eye on them.  Knowing you’ve got another set of eyes on a potential problem helps alleviate a lot of unnecessary stress. No matter how well you plan or how detail-oriented you think you’ve been, there are always day of snafus that are out of your control. Choose a time in your day — for me it was as soon as our guests were seated for dinner — as the moment that whatever happens, happens. Knowing that all I had to do was make it to the dinner kept me going, and once it arrived, I was finally able to relax and enjoy my wedding because, well, I didn’t have a choice!
