St. Helena Wedding Film by Joel Serrato

Joel Serrato is not only one of the nicest people on the planet (like so adorable you instantly want to be best friends with him) but he also happens to make incredibly beautiful films. The kind of films that draw you into that very moment, that wedding, that love that a couple shares. And this film is just that. Get cozy and set your sights on all four minutes of this beauty. It’s worth every second. And if you missed it, catch up with the first part of this affair right here as well as the gallery for the full set of images captured by Tec Petaja. Talk about a wedding dream team.

And one last hurrah before we bid adieu….

From Suzy of Suzy Berberian Weddings & Events Tara and Chris poured their hearts into the wedding planning, and the day was full of personal touches. Pre-filled stainless steel water bottles were provided to the guests at the ceremony, in keeping with the sustainable initiatives of the family’s ranch and restaurant, and they could carry them throughout the wedding and then enjoy at home. Instead of a guest book, Tara and Chris provided vintage postcards for guests to sign and then pin to an antique mesh frame for everyone to enjoy. Long Meadow Ranch wines were featured throughout the evening and highlighted the farm-to-table American farmhouse cuisine during dinner at Farmstead restaurant.

The reception was set with beautiful long farm tables, and family style dinner service made for a warm, friendly affair. Tara worked with the florist to design a beautiful tablescape with lanterns, hurricanes and an abundance of small vases filled with fresh herbs, garden roses and other summer flowers in shades of white, ivory and blush. The 210 guests were directed to tables marked with custom maps, one per table, describing an international city where Tara and Chris have traveled, along with the dates of their visit.  Many generations of family photos were on display, set on the charming bistro tables lining the reception area.  One of my favorite things about this wedding was the amazing “cake” made from artisan cheeses, created from more than twenty rounds of the couple’s favorite cheese varieties.  Since so many wine country weddings are “destination” events, working with this local couple was a special treat.  Seeing them share their love of wine, homegrown cuisine and the family estate and restaurant with all of their guests just made their love story shine even brighter!
