Don’t you just ADORE bridal sessions?!? Yep, me, too. There’s just something about donning your wedding day attire PRIOR to the big day for an afternoon of glamour that never fails to send my heart into overdrive – and this darling Victoria shoot is all kinds of fabulous, with an uber-stunning bride and two breathtaking locations leading the way. Korie Lynn Photography captured all of the pretty images and, my oh my, does it make for one fine way to spend a Wednesday. Click here for more.

From Korie Lynn of Korie Lynn Photography… For Lauren’s bridal session, we ventured into downtown Victoria, Texas, to highlight the area since she lives there. Wouldn’t you know, there was a gorgeously lit, antique furniture-stocked wine bar just calling our names for her bridals! The 77901 Wine & Spirits Bar couldn’t have been a more perfect setting, plus we had the place to ourselves! They didn’t open for business until later in the evening, so they let us have free run of the place. Win-win! The entire storefront was composed of floor-to-ceiling windows, just flooding the place with yummy light! And then add all that killer furniture to work with aaaaand a lovely bride! Heaven.
Lauren was ready for the vintage setting the wine bar provided, and added her own flair to the shoot: lace gloves, layered pearls, a cute compact mirror and red lipstick. Then there was her custom-altered Pronovias gown. The gown was a mermaid shape with a sheer lace overlay that was originally permanently attached. However, Lauren had it altered so she could wear the same gown two different ways for her bridals and the wedding day! The first way is with the sheer overlay, and the second way (for the reception) was having the overlay removed. She had some crystal trim beading added to the overlay where it attaches to the gown under the right bust line. The crystal added a finishing touch and a little more sparkle to the gown. Such a clever way to work your wedding dress!
Our second location for her bridals was the Raisin L Ranch, where Lauren would be getting married. Since she was getting married out at the ranch, we wanted to go there for sentimental value alone.
