Calgary Wedding by Sarah Vaughan Photography

One combination that just might be our our new favorite is the coming together of whimsy and elegance. It’s succulents and ballrooms like you’ve never seen. Blue Hydrangea whipped up a myriad of succulent infused centerpieces, moss lined aisle ways and bouquets that would make even the most modern of Brides fall head over heels. And married with gold details and the stately ballroom of The Fairmont Palliser Hotel, it makes for quite the beautiful fête as seen through the lens of Sarah Vaughan Photography. Be sure to stop by the gallery for so much more where these pretty images came from.

From Sarah of Sarah Vaughan PhotographyKim and Shawn’s wedding took place in a beautiful old hotel in downtown Calgary. The ceremony was in the Canadian Pacific Railway Pavilion, which is attached to the hotel. The colours were blue and gold to coordinate with the beautiful, yet quirky ballroom where they had their reception. Kim’s dress was Romona Keveza, and she had a stunning Ann Taylor gold statement necklace. It was luxe affair with some adorable, quirky accents that suited the couple perfectly.
