From Kina of Kina Wicks Photography… Maria and Miguel are both Chicago natives and every location for their day held very personal significance to them. The Drake Hotel, where they got ready and had their first look and pictures is where Miguel’s father has worked for many years, and they both were in love with the architecture and chandeliers throughout the hotel. The Rumba supper club, where the ceremony and reception were held, is where they met and both work. The Rumba supper club is full of Latin inspiration, and we danced to a traditional Latin band for most of the night. The supper club has a very “rat pack” feel.
