Paired with the perfect Kate Spade shoes, a sweet birdcage veil, pearls galore, and a stunning bride, the entire ensemble was made for this affair, captured by Lindsay Hite of Readyluck. Mike and I met in Avalon, New Jersey while sharing a beach house on 33rd street. After four years of dating, one Christmas morning while opening gifts, Mike proposed and I said yes (about an hour later after the shock wore off)!
We really wanted to work with a “blank canvas.” We wanted every last detail to be our own. I so lucky to work with such amazingly talented people that were able to make my visions come to life – and I had a lot of them, detail, details, details…its all about the little things that really make a big impression.
My favorite colors are blue and yellow. They scream summer joy! The girls wore navy blue dresses and the blue in the hydrangeas along with the yellow and white flowers really popped! We continued a summer theme throughout our design ranging from the wheat grass escort card table, the kayak raw bar, and the boardwalk themed dessert bar! Mike and I met in the summer at the shore, it only seemed fitting to bring the beach to the Foundry!.
To brides & grooms to be, continue to remind yourselves that its not just a wedding, its a marriage. Confide in your friends. Have trust in the people who you hired for your event. The last two weeks are crazy, but the wedding day makes it all worth it!
