From the Bride... We had our wedding July 9, 2011 at Arowhon Pines Resort, a small, rustic 50-room summer resort located in the heart of Algonquin Park, a huge nature and wildlife preserve in North Ontario. 70 guests joined us, including 16 children. We had everyone come on Friday night and stay the weekend in the cabins nestled in the woods, kicking off the Friday night with a huge camp fire with s'mores and buckets of beer. All meals were included in the five star restaurant located on the property. The ceremony was performed on the dock, overlooking Little Joe Lake. Brian's daughter Riley was his best man, or "Best Little Girl," and stood along him for the ceremony. My friend Jenn Aurich helped me on my side. Bottles of champagne flowed after the waterside ceremony. Dinner was in the grand dining room with the reception taking place in a separate cabin known as the "Game Room" with friends playing guitar and piano and gracing us with their wonderful voices. The remainder of the weekend was spent with everyone canoeing, hiking, swimming or fishing.
