I am a sucker for a snowy engagement sessions. They just make me want to curl up with a steaming cup of hot cocoa and swoon the day away. So this snowy session by Genevieve Renee Photographie is my cup of tea (or cocoa in my case). A stunning couple, a gorgeous Canadian backdrop and enough love to go around - I might have to go for my second round of cocoa before I'm done gushing over the full gallery of images!

From the bride... When our wedding plans kicked off, we decided to do a winter engagement shoot on our anniversary engagement weekend — January 14, 2012 — which was the perfect way to celebrate! Bragg Creek was a natural choice for us as it houses a few cute picnic spots and a lovely restaurant we've been known to frequent. The antique mall pictured is right beside that lovely restaurant, and has always captivated me with its olden-days romance. Our photographer was a joy to work with, capturing the style of those antique shops perfectly! Perhaps selfishly, I think the aspen grove shots proved to be the most beautiful of them all — they are the perfect remembrance of our engagement story.
