And because we just couldn’t resist keeping this lovely day going for a tad bit longer, we just had to share this adorable couple’s completely tissue-worthy wedding film by Walter Pawluk. The say to always end things on a high note, right?

From Kristin Banta EventsThe overall look of this wedding was luxurious, organic, masculine and well-appointed. There was an evolution of sorts through the evening, as the ceremony space had the natural, peaceful appeal of the East Coast seaside with weathered, pickled wood elements, textural coastal grasses and botanicals and subtle hints of nautical influence. As the celebration progressed into the ballroom and terrace, the look was refined and residential with a focus on luxe, polished, well-styled details. The after party was sleek, swanky, and sophisticated in a darker, masculine palette with sumptuous textures and loads of style. Florals and botanicals were specimen-quality with a focus on texture, while containers and décor elements were residentially-inspired.

As the sounds of an acoustic guitarist played from the nearby rotunda, guests made their way to the grand lawn, passing a table draped in linen that offered fruit-infused water from two urns. They were met by a weathered wooden table set in the ceremony lawn that offered yarmulkes and programs, and they took their seats on rustic wooden French slotted chairs facing an inspired chuppah structure. The structure and nuptial area were detailed with native coastal grasses, florals and botanicals, giving the feeling that the structure had aged on the Nantucket shore. The aisle was lined with woven willow lanterns, each aglow with the light of thick pillar candles. After the ceremony concluded, guests were invited up the path to the stunning ocean-side lawn as butlers passed out custom specialty cocktails. As guests walked up to the cocktail space overlooking the ocean, ambient sounds could be heard as played by a lively jazz trio. The garden was transformed into an East Coast seaside beer garden where guests could enjoy the sunset. The space offered two bars (a beer and pretzel bar plus the main bar), all draped in striped, sail canvas-style linens and embellished with lanterns and botanical elements such as hops and wheat.

Guests were welcomed into the ballroom and were visually drawn into an environment that was at once warm and masculine, luxurious and refined. A band played from a custom wood-fronted stage in front of a backdrop of an over-sized peppertree as guests found their seats. Each table was set with an eclectic tablescape of lush, specimen-quality florals and botanicals composed in collected, elegant containers, along with other residential details and candlelight. A bar cart was set near the fireplace in the ballroom to display the cake on a custom-upholstered cake riser. Natural linen drapes were hung in front of the airwalls to soften the perimeter. The late-night crowd was welcomed into the dark color palette of the after party: cognac, chestnut, bronze, pewter and charcoal. The room was fully draped in charcoal ultrasuede, creating a clean backdrop around the perimeter. Four chic lounge vignettes were set through the room with leather wingback chairs and smoked-glass tables. A dramatically long custom bar was the focal point in this space. It was set with cool gray bar stools on either end, inviting guests to roll up and order a hand-crafted cocktail. Long, powder-coated, pewter-framed console tables set with candlelight provided alternate areas for guests’ conversation around the pecan wood dance floor.
