From Craig Paulson Photography…After the cake has been eaten, the guests have gone home and the dress has been sent to the dry cleaners what you have left from the wedding is the photographs (well, and of course the most important part- the marriage). I started out as a wedding photographer in 2001 and over the past 11 years have built my business by being straightforward, working really hard and giving people beautiful, timeless photographs. A few years ago, faced with having to turn down work for days where I was already booked, I started hand picking photographers to be trained up as associate shooters to be represented by my studio. The result is a studio full of some of the brightest and most talented photographers in the city. My photographers have to not just take exceptional images, but they have to be hard working, love photographing weddings and to be able to handle any situation that arises on the day with grace and professionalism. I set very high standards for myself and my photographers because these are pictures from one of the most important days in your life and I want you to look back on them 30 years from now and still love them.

As a child I used to create paper flowers and accessories all day long, not much has changed since then, just the materials. My first memory of creating was in our family car with my mom. She was teaching me how to make beautiful tissue flowers, no doubt to keep me quiet. It was magical, and I really think eclu began in that moment. I designed my first collection when I couldn’t find a backpack for my daughters to use for preschool. I wanted something unique and well made and simply couldn’t find it. So, I made it.
After that first week of preschool I had several requests for my little backpack. As my kids got older I started designing other types of bags that I wanted. We now have been designing collections for almost 5 years and were recently chosen as the Etsy Featured Artist in March 2011. All eclu clutches are handmade to order one at a time with extreme care and attention to detail.
