From Jenn of Jenn and Travis Photography... Lisa wanted soft, romantic colors for her wedding. She took her inspiration from a seashell, which was the perfect inspiration for a beach front wedding. This was Lisa and Peter's second marriage, so they that the most delicious dessert table in lieu of the traditional wedding cake. But my favorite part of the wedding was the sand ceremony. They realized that their union was bigger than the two of them. It was the joining of two families. Each child (Lisa's two daughters and Peter's son and daughter) had their own little bottle of sand from their birth place (ranging from Newport, Texas, and British Columbia) and mixed it with their parent's sand. Then Lisa and Peter poured their sands together. I thought it was a beautiful way to in corporate two international families into the ceremony.
