San Luis Obispo Wedding Film by Cana Video Productions

You’ve had a full day to see this fabulous wedding by Ryan Ray unfold. From the inspiration to the ceremony to the reception, we’ve been gushing about it all day long – and for good reason, it’s GORGEOUS. And unique. And stylish. And full of love. Which is the perfection combination to all of us at SMP. The best part? It isn’t over just yet, because you are about to be moved in the best possible way thanks to this amazing couple’s wedding film by Cana Video Productions. I’ve seen a lot of wedding videos in my day, and I love them all – but this one made me stop dead in my tracks to watch two people fall in love and shed a tear or two (or three). It just seems like a fabulous way to wrap up this oh so gorgeous day. So go ahead – put it on repeat, we won’t judge…

From the bride… It truly meant the world to us to have our closest friends and family there to be a part of the most important day of our lives, a lot of them came from across the country to be there to support us and we could not be more grateful or feel more blessed to have such an amazing group of people in our lives. We really wanted to have a laid-back backyard style wedding where our guests could relax and just hang out. Having the wedding at the Flying Caballos Ranch was the perfect spot. Spending the whole weekend at the charming ranch and being surrounded by nature, family and friends was exactly what we had envisioned.

Besides Scott and I taking our “best friends in love” status to being “best friends in love who also just happened to be freakin’ married!” we also wanted to have a wedding that reflected our personalities. I have a little obsession with moss and mushrooms so we tried to find as many ways as we could to incorporated those into the wedding. Scott is a little bit of a marshmallow freak so we knew we would be having s’mores around the campfire (we had regular marshmallows, Jumbo marshmallows, chocolate marshmallows, pumpkin marshmallows, and peeps!). Having the most amazing photographer (Ryan Ray) and Videographers (Cana Video Productions) was super important to us! Having these guys at the wedding was a dream come true and we now have the sweetest photos and video to look back on for the rest of our lives…
