Melbourne Wedding by Stewart Leishman Photography

This Melbourne wedding is the kind of affair that gets my heart beating in triple time. It's the flowers by Pomp & Splendour that are just so pretty I could eat them, the carefree yet wholeheartedly in love Bride and Groom, the Australian backdrop. It's all of these things and the images by Stewart Leishman Photography are bringing it all to life. Get lost in all the wonderment in the full wedding gallery.

From the bride... We met in Melbourne one night, when I went with some friends to what turned out to be Matt's birthday party. He was living in France at the time and I had a French exam at Uni the next day, he convinced me to stay at the party and practice my French with him instead of going home to study. Coincidentally, I was moving to France about a month later to study and after a year I moved further south to live with Matt, six years ago. We now live in Spain, where the whole wedding was planned from! One year ago we were home in Australia for the Summer; Matt proposed on my birthday while we were having lunch with my twin sister and her partner. It was so special that they were there to share in our excitement. Our wedding was an exercise in long-distance planning- we only arrived a few weeks before the wedding day. But all of the elements came together amazingly well on the day and we had a brilliant night surrounded by our families and closest friends.
