Those emerald green Fendi shoes. The shoes that were longed for by the bride (and, honestly, me), bought by the groom, and that inspired the ambiance of this gorgeous Canadian winter wedding. We felt it was the perfect soiree to share on this special holiday. From Orange Girl Photographs … Mike loves to ski and Leah loves to tag along so choosing Lake Louise for their romantic wintery winter was the perfect choice for Leah and Mike. Leah and Mike love to travel and on a recent trip to Las Vegas Leah found a pair of emerald green shoes that she loved. She tried them on and then put them back deciding they were too expensive. Mike returned later in the day to buy the shoes for Leah because he could tell how much she loved them. The shoes were part of the inspiration for their wedding colours. Lake Louise is also known for it’s beautiful green colour which could be seen peeking out from below the ice.
Leah and Mike were given a particularly beautiful snowy winter day that made the perfect backdrop for photographs. Inside Chateau Lake Louise lots and lots of candles and warm amber lighting helped created a cozy feeling inside for their ceremony and reception.
In the couple’s speech they spoke about the fact that they had been together for six years before getting married and that made their wedding special to them because everyone in the room had known them as a couple for years. One of the things that they love to do with their close friends is attend music festivals every year together so it was fitting that the band was friends with the couple and was a highlight of their evening.
