From Greg Blomberg Photography…Katie and Daniel were co- bible study leaders who wanted a traditional wedding that expressed their faith and a modern reception that expressed their funky personalities. They chose the classic and picture perfect Royal Lane Baptist Church in Dallas for their ceremony, officiated by Daniel’s father. The wildly popular and upscale restaurant, Stephan Pyles was the location for the reception, owned by highly acclaimed chef Stephan Pyles. A place not typically used for wedding receptions but instead widely well known for its incredible food and atmosphere, Katie thought it would be unique and perfect for her reception.
Bows and Arrows provided gorgeous and interesting flower arrangements and decor for both the ceremony and reception. Two completely different locales and themes– a very traditional church with columns in the front that is reminiscent of a southern plantation and a modern, clean lined, contemporary restaurant somehow seemed to fit perfectly together thanks to the flowers and decor– that were appropriate for both venues, yet unique and different at both places.
