From the groom ... The idea came when we organized our vacation trip in Mexico. At this time, I was looking for a while the best moment to propose to her. What a mission for somebody like me!
I was not sure if Mexico could be the moment I was waiting for. Mexico is a highly touristy destination and consequently maybe too expected for someone as unique in my heart like Mylène.
As we prepared our trip, I found that all the elements started to come together for a proposal. Our resort was fantastic and bordered the Caribbean Sea. We had scheduled great restaurants and activities. Our room was exceptional and well located in the resort. What more could I ask for?
A week before leaving, I decided to buy the ring and ask Mylène’s father for the hand of his daughter. I was already prepared for that moment. For me, it was only a matter of waiting for THE moment.
The first day in Mexico was beautiful! We went on the beach and relaxed the whole day. During the evening, Mylène and I decided to take a walk on the beach - I took the ring with me. I knew the moment was close. Nobody was on the beach during our lovely walk. After a moment, I decided to sit with Mylène to hear the sound of the sea. At this moment, and under a full moon, we were engaged.
