Being a wedding photographer, this bride knew exactly what she wanted for her own wedding and it did not include any grand gestures and over the top design. Instead, she chose to have an intimate ceremony on the beach in Maui with her closest friends and family and the result is pure, Hawaiian romance. Wendy Laurel captured all the special moments on the beach and if you love romantic beach weddings as much as we do, click here for the full gallery.

From Wendy Laurel...Joe and Stacy chose to get married while on vacation in Maui because they wanted to have a simple wedding in a beautiful location. As a wedding photographer herself, to Stacy the photography was second only to the exchanging of the vows. "Choosing Wendy Laurel as my photographer was easy, her photos make me smile" said Stacy. "I wanted someone who would make me feel comfortable in front of the camera since I'm only accustomed to being behind it."
Joe and Stacy wanted very simple. Because she is used to shooting big weddings, Stacy wanted to go the opposite direction and have a simple beach ceremony with just her close family and friends. She wanted to have fun and enjoy her wedding with no stress. A small beach wedding is an intimate celebration and very romantic. They picked North Malauka in Makena next to the old Hawaiian church named Keawala'i. Its amazingly beautiful there with beautiful blue skies, palm trees, and white sand.
