Timeless. Perfectly timeless. This wedding by Nancy Aidee Photography is understated elegance at its finest, and a wedding that will stand the test of time. I am absolutely in love with every little detail, and that mile-long veil just grabbed a hold on my heart and won’t let go. It’s a wedding I’ll look back on when I am old and grey and still think is devine, and well lovelies – you can’t beat that. Click here for even more timeless beauty!

From the Bride…Like most girls, I had been dreaming of my wedding day and wondering who my groom would be since I was a little girl. When I went on a blind date with Kyle in 2007 I had no idea he would indeed be the man at the end of the aisle. Kyle asked me to marry him after 4 years of dating and I was overwhelmed with joy at the thought of our future lives together. I was so thrilled to put the planning into motion and buy out the shelves of bridal magazines! I dreamed of having a wedding that felt like Annie’s from the movie Father of the Bride. I wanted something romantic, timeless, and mostly traditional.
We decided to go with champagne, cream, and blush pink colors to help keep the wedding soft and elegant. The wedding programs, menus, and place cards were all DIY projects inspired by weddings featured on Style Me Pretty. Luckily, I had a patient mom and some very helpful bridesmaids who were very giving of their time to help with the assembling. My favorite detail was the personalized matchbooks that accompanied the cigars available for guests to enjoy on the back patio.
My favorite moment was during our exit when Kyle made us stop to hug our parents goodbye as guests threw dried lavender. It was a beautiful day we will never forget and cannot wait to tell our children about. An evening surrounded by all the people who love and support our marriage, I can’t imagine anything better.
