From the future groom... Kathryn and I met at uni back in 2003, when I came to Melbourne as a International student. Both of us studied Tourism Management and after being involved in several group assignments, "the sparks flew".
We moved in together pretty quickly and it was clear to us that we are in it for the long-term. Over the years Kathryn and I have always been very close. Over several years we have lived, studied and worked together, before Kathryn left the hospitality industry to take on an admin job with more regular working hours. I proposed to Kathryn on our 6 year anniversary, 31 May 2009. We were planning a trip to Europe that year, and Kathryn and I said that we weren't going to celebrate our anniversary, as we wanted to save money for our overseas trip. Little did Kathryn know that I had a big day of surprises planned. We stayed at a hotel in the city and enjoyed a day and night full of good food, wine and entertainment before I proposed to Kathryn at the end of the night. After building our first house in 2010, we have now finally set our wedding day on 10 March 2012, and both of us are looking forward to our lives together as husband and wife.
