Los Angeles Wedding by Gia Canali Photography

Gia Canali Photography gifted us this modern interpretation of a classic wedding and we LE DIE from beginning to end. It’s way beyond the average gorgeous fête and has a whole plethora of fabulous vendors under its belt. Poko Event crafted all the stunning details while Dandelion Ranch was the mastermind behind the florals (which I am head over heels obsessed with by the way) and then there is each and every single lovely photograph from Gia Canali. Pure and total ART. So as not to inundate you with one huge image board after another (believe me I was tempted), we have the full wedding gallery just waiting for your click.

From Gia Canali PhotographyThe best thing about this wedding was how much family was celebrated throughout the event.  The couple was very intentional in planning the day so that they could enjoy really meaningful time with their (big!) families — lots of time for photographs with all their friends and family and lots of time for dancing late into the night.

They had a traditional Greek Orthodox wedding ceremony at the church the bride’s family attends. The design for the reception space, and the entire event, was a clean, modern take on classic wedding design. Centerpieces with soft whites and muted colors (reflected also in the more vibrant jewel-toned bridesmaid’s dresses) covered bare, dark wood tables. The elegant arc of white tulips was highlighted by candle light. Guests sat in soft white upholstered chairs.  The color scheme was almost seamless with the existing feel of Vibiana (dark wood floors, and lots and lots of white! It’s a striking event space.)
