davina + daniel have done it again. They have a way of capturing everything just so and bring so much beauty and drama to each and every single image. No doubt their work was made easy by the beautiful people and design of this wedding. We're loving all the purple touches in the menus, flowers, and bridesmaids dresses. This wedding is super fun and modern and there is enough here to keep you inspired for days. Click here to be inspired for weeks!

From the Bride...From the second Alex and I got engaged on Valentine's Day (and his birthday), we had already made the two most important decisions on our wedding: having the reception at the Golf Saint-Raphael, and hiring davina + daniel as our wedding photographers. Living a few meters away from the golf course, and driving by it twice a day, everyday for almost 15 years, I would always imagine myself celebrating with family and friends my future wedding at the golf course. Having visited the location a few days after being engaged, our decision was made. We hadn't visited any other reception venue. From the outdoor tented cocktail area, where you would get a spectacular view of the greens, to the intimate setting of the reception hall, we could go no wrong.
Planning the decor on the other hand was a bit more challenging. From the second that I saw the chair covers, I knew that I needed to change them. Renting ghost chairs gave the room a more modern look and we could not be happier with the outcome. We also knew that we wanted an intimate setting for the head table, so we decided on having a sweetheart table, for just Alex and myself. With the rest of the decor, I went as DIY as I could, with my purple color scheme. I printed and assembled the invitations, menus and table numbers, assembled the jordan almonds, made the magnetic seating chart (frame made by my very artistic and hands on sister and maid of honour), and with the help of a couple of my bridesmaids, handmade the photo booth props.
From the moment that I received the wedding slideshow of a friend's friend, I knew that davina + daniel would be our future photographers. It didn't take long to convince Alex either. All he needed to do was spend a few minutes on their website looking at the way they detailed weddings. They captured every intimate detail of our very Armenian ceremony. Having both grown up in traditional Armenian families, we knew that our ceremony would be as traditional as possible, from our heads bowed together, to the best man and brother to the groom holding a cross to our heads. Every prayer, although read in Armenian, symbolized the union between Alex and I.
Although there were a few stressful situations the week of the wedding, everything went as smoothly as possible and we were all relaxed the day of. The weather could not have been any better and our family and friends were just as happy as Alex and I. Although every bride says the same thing, our wedding was perfect and we would not change a thing about it.
