We all know that one of the most fun parts of planning a wedding is getting all dolled up with your love and getting your photographs taken for your engagement session. What other time will you have professional photos taken of just the two of you sans wedding garb? And in the case of this e-session by Rowell Photography, the romance factor was uped about a million times with the addition of a sweet, little rowboat and some fireworks. It really doesn’t get any more romantic than this, don’t you think? See even more here.

From Rowell Photography…We have started a new tradition at Rowell Photography, to photograph one couple every year on Canada Day. The idea is to take engagement portraits with a backdrop of fireworks. This year we decided to take it a step further and choose a Canadiana theme for the engagement shoot. We bought a Hudson’s Bay wool blanket from The Bay, borrowed a boat from the Barrie Rowing Club, and had Kristine and Alan just laze around while the sun set over the city of Barrie. During the summer in Barrie there is no better place to be than on the water. Happy 144th birthday Canada.
