Emily Faulknor Photographers shot this gorgeous display of nuptials and it is proving that a classic black and white wedding never goes out of style and neither does an insane display of scrumptious desserts crafted by Sweet and Saucy Shop. Creme brulee shooters anyone? We are big, big fans of all of the above and don't even get us started on the invitations and paper goods by Posh Paperie which have completely captured our hearts. All in all, this is one fabulous San Diego soirée worthy of a whole lot of gushing over in the full wedding gallery!

From the Bride...We had a blast planning our wedding! We envisioned a day that was timeless, but also reflected us as a couple. Our favorite part of the process was planning our ceremony! When we were working with our officiant, we did a lot of homework and answered many questions about us and our relationship. We kept this separate and never knew what each others answers were. Our ceremony was specifically about us, our 9 year relationship, the stories, the first date and about what we both look forward to in our future. It felt so intimate and so many of our guests enjoyed getting a little insight into our lives.
Kenny is VERY handy, he built our beautiful wedding arch for the ceremony and it now sits at his parent’s house! Our wonderful friend and bridesmaid’s father, gave us all of the grapevines for our arch from his farm! This is was special to us knowing all of the love that went into it! Kenny welded all of our metal centerpiece stands, and my father was also helpful in building so many things as well! We had a ‘stone blessing’ during the ceremony, my Dad started about 7 months before the wedding tumbling rocks! They turned our so beautiful and we keep them in our home to symbolize all of the people at our wedding and their wishes for us as a couple. My Dad also made the columns for our aisle, the dessert table backdrop and he salvaged and painted all of the mirrors for the table numbers! It is these details that we will remember most about our wedding day!
By far, the best part of our wedding day was doing our first look! Wedding day emotions are unreal, and no one can explain what you will be feeling. Seeing each other for the first time that day was the absolute best moment I have ever had. All of the stress of the planning is gone, and you are finally able to take in the moment with the person you love most. We were able to share all of our emotions together and really take some time to enjoy each other and focus on what we were about to do, something that we have been waiting so long for. We were so overwhelmed with joy and we both kept saying how happy we were that we did this! The walk down the aisle was STILL emotional and still so special!
