These sweet as can be Chicago nuptials by Alaina Bos Photography, Inc. are just what I needed to start my Monday off right. With an urban country theme and one of the happiest brides I have ever seen, I’ve been smiling all morning over all of the lovely. LOLA Event Productions is the genius behind the charming details and from the chalkboard seating chart to those lovely yellow blooms, I am completely smitten. Yes, I do believe it’s going to be a very good week here on Style Me Pretty Illinois. Join me in the gallery for all of the pretty!

From the Bride… We knew we wanted to get married at Cafe Brauer. We never went venue shopping. I just knew that Cafe Brauer was the most beautiful place I’d ever seen. I had an extraordinary amount of help from Lauren Carter of LOLA Event Productions on ideas, decor, and flowers. She was incredible! We came up with some fun DIY projects and I had a few of my own that I wanted to do.
Eric works in finance and wanted to see how awesome of an event we could put together without spending an unreasonable amount of money. We were fortunate enough to call on friends in the industry for help, as well as do some DIY projects. Using wedding tips from our vendors, we were able to save money on things like flowers by choosing flowers that were in season.
