Oh me…I think (ok I know) I will be swooning over this soiree by IN Photography for the remainder of the day. Can you blame me really? The entire, drop-dead gorgeous, floral-filled, color induced, outdoor affair was inspired by a cake stand passed down from the beautiful (that’s an understatement) bride’s grandmother. If you don’t know, I have what people might call a full-on obsession with cake stands – so a wedding inspired by one of those pretty pedestals is just beyond fabulous to little ol me. I have a feeling you’ll think it’s beyond fabulous as well, so don’t forget you can keep the swoon fest going in the full gallery of images!

From the Bride…My grandmother has always been one to collect things, especially fine family heirlooms. When I asked her last fourth of July if I could borrow some pieces from her crystal collection, I was blown away when she revealed and gave to me a beautiful, pink-rimmed cake stand that was given to her on her wedding day in 1948 by her Aunt Meryl. At that time the delicate stand was fifty years old. It is this piece that became the inspiration for Andrew’s and my wedding which celebrated the uniqueness of our families, friends, upbringings and futures.
