From Essential Wedding Design...The fifties are a timeless, genuine and captivating moment in time, something that can feel out of reach and forgotten. I wanted to capture the chivalry and eminence of this time in its essence and bring it to life. Instead of making the shoot a 50’s wedding theme, I opted for a honeymoon getaway style. This allowed the shoot to be dressy, smart and cute.

I wanted to create authenticity to this shoot in its decor, using locations, clothing and accessories which accentuated the time. Using timeless and textured locations of an old stadium, picket fences, an old train station and a lagoon, meshed with beautiful vintage clothes and accessories, our décor became true.

In doing this shoot I wanted people to be re-introduced to this time and how beautiful and amazing it can be. Using themes in your wedding can be such a stunning element which will individualize your day uniquely to your style.
