Barossa Valley Wedding by Eon Images

When I look through the beautiful images and cinematography by Eon Images I feel like I'm getting a little glimpse into one of my favorite love stories.  I'm obsessed with classic literature like Jane Eyre and Wuthering Heights and this splendidly romantic wedding looks like it was pulled right out of the pages of one of my favorites.    So immerse yourself in all the dreamy goodness coming your way especially the incredible film and make sure you stop by the full gallery to see it all!

From Eon Images...The morning of Paul + Emilie’s wedding was a little bit drizzly, but we were still hopeful. With beautiful venues and a young couple who are clearly very much in love we knew it would be a great day regardless! So with the Eon cinematography team along for the ride, we headed in to Birdwood and Gawler to catch some of the preparations.

Now I expected a house in Birdwood to have some character, but boy did this house have character! A gorgeous timber cottage with beautiful gardens (and it was green, thanks rain!). Emilie got ready with the help of her bridesmaids and her Mum and Dad. I sent Dave to check on the boys. Walking up to Paul’s house there was a very tidy looking Alfa Romeo parked nearby. It didn’t take long to find out that this was Paul’s pride and joy (after Emilie of course!). Paul’s Dad is also a big car fan but he wasn’t planning on taking his classic 351 Fairmont out for the day. A little persuasion was all it took, a car like that can’t sit at home on such a special day! So after a few “getting ready” shots they jumped in the two cars and cruised up to the Chateau Yaldara for some more photos. This is an amazing location for photos with gorgeous gardens and stunning heritage buildings.

The weather turned out to be beautiful for the ceremony and creative shoot. After a beautiful (and at times emotional) ceremony at Gomersal Wines we headed to the Grant Burge Estate. This has since become our favourite venue for wedding photos! Back at Gomersal, Paul + Emilie’s guests were treated to some of the best pizza I have ever tasted by Angaston Roaring 40′s Cafe, so good! The reception was a wonderful celebration and we had a great time sharing some of the images with the guests in our same day slideshow.
