There's just something so sweet and romantic about a pink wedding that gets the girly girl inside me all giddy and bubbly. This DIY bride envisioned a fresh garden party for her wedding and managed to do all the paper goods, aside from the invites, on her own! All those crafts certainly paid off as we just can't seem to get enough of this pretty pink féte captured beautifully by Nicole Welch Photography. See even more here in the full gallery.

From the Bride...I love impressionist art, and this served as a great inspiration for my wedding, from the colors to the lighting to the cocktail-casual nature of the event. I wanted the wedding to feel like a pretty, romantic, garden party. Our reception venue provided a great indoor-outdoor feel with the covered patio where dinner was served and the french doors that opened to the interior cocktail hour and dancing space. Pink is my favorite color and was used throughout the wedding in flowers and décor, but I tried to make it more sophisticated by pairing it with gold and champagne accents. With the exception of the invitations, which we downloaded and printed ourselves from The Printable Press, I made all of the paper goods, including envelope liners, programs, menus, escort cards and labels myself. I also did all the calligraphy on the invitations. The wedding cake was designed based on the paper goods and mimicked the peonies, bird and bee on the wedding invitations
I gained a lot of inspiration from looking through wedding and wedding photography blogs and from Etsy, where I purchased a number of wedding-related materials, including necklaces for the bridesmaids, cute paper straws, and a custom collar for our dog. I wanted our wedding to have a homemade feel so I incorporated DIY style through the fabric pomanders on the pews which I made with the help of one of my bridesmaids, the felt banners at the reception and the cookie bar, with homemade cookies provided by family and friends.
