From Bella Flora of Dallas…Lisa and Jason exchanged “I Dos” on Lisa’s mom and step father’s gorgeous ranch in Aubrey, Texas. Lisa and Jason wanted to bring in rustic, but glamorous touches to transform the country ranch into a vintage-chic wedding. The ceremony was held in the backyard under a canopy of crystal chandeliers and suspended candlelight. Lisa walked down the rose-covered aisle to a string quartet playing the classic love song, “The Way You Look Tonight”. Guests were given escort cards with vintage broaches and cuff links that Lisa and her mom had collected throughout the wedding planning process. The ranch driveway was transformed into a grand reception complete with a giant white tent and rustic wooden tables. A sparkling crystal chandelier was hung in the center of the tent along with white draping for a grand focal piece. Overflowing white floral centerpieces with birch and natural accents were placed down the long tables for an elegant, yet vintage look.
Jason and Lisa’s laid-back attitudes and close-knit group of friends were evident throughout the night. Their good friend from California spun the tunes as guests boogied on the dance floor. I love the shots of Jason and Lisa in the ceremony area for a little private time after dinner—they are so sweet! Lisa did a great job of incorporating her family into the ceremony—her mom was the officiant, her youngest son was the adorable ring bearer, and her oldest walked her down the aisle. They also added a unique aspect to the wedding with the rock ceremony. As guests entered the ceremony, they took a rock and wrote a wish for Lisa and Jason. All the rocks were collected in a vintage chest after the recessional. Guests also sipped on “Lisa-tinis” throughout the night that included personalized “Lisa-tini” stir sticks and Lisa’s favorite cocktail. Displayed on a vintage chest Lisa’s mom refurbished were fun pashminas for guests to enjoy as the night got cooler. This wedding was so unique and personalized, and I Ioved being a part of it!
