STEP 1: Beauty is skin deep so the first step to any beautiful makeup look is to prep the skin. Dior Makeup Artist Tina Safonova applied Capture Totale One Essential which detoxifies the skin and enhances the benefits of your current skincare regimen by up to 400%. She then followed with Hydra Life Serum, Sorbet Crème, and Eye Crème.

For a flawless and even complexion, Tina then applied Capture Totale Foundation in shade 020 with a Foundation Brush. To cover discoloration or darkness under the eyes, she applied Diorskin Nude Concealer in shade 002 with a Concealer Brush. To set the look, she applied Airflash Foundation in shade 200 in a Z formation. Airflash provides 12 hours of coverage so it’s essential for wedding day makeup and is perfect for quick touchups. For an extra touch of color she applied Dior Blush in Rosebud to the apples of the cheeks.

STEP 2: For a natural yet chic look for the eyes, Tina chose the neutral browns and golds of Dior’s 5 Colour Designer Eyeshadow palette in Amber Design. She applied the base shade (bottom left of the palette) to the entire eye from lid to brow bone. On the inner portion of the lid, Tina applied the gold shade (middle of the palette) from the corner of the eye to the crease. She then applied the eye liner shade (bottom right of the palette) to the outer portion of the lid with an eyeshadow brush and smudged from the lash line to the crease. She used the same shade to line both the top and lower lashes, smudging the lower line with her ring finger. Tina blended the dark brown shade (top left of the palette) into crease. She then applied the shimmery shade (top right of the palette) with a cheek brush to the eye contour & cheek bone to create a healthy glow that captures light in photographs.

To finish the eyes, Tina used Diorshow Browstyler in Universal Brown to lightly fill in the brows. She applied Diorshow Lash Maximizer as a primer which also thickens and lengthens the lashes and then two coats of waterproof Diorshow Iconic Extreme Mascara in Black.

STEP 3: To balance the golds and browns on the eyes, Tina selected a neutral lip with a hint of shimmer. For staying power, she used Dior Lip Liner in Cinnamon to fill in the lips but left the middle untouched. Leaving the middle open creates a full lip effect. Tina used a sponge eyeshadow applicator to press Dior Addict Lipstick in Tailleur Bar #535 into the lips. This technique helps with staying power. She then re-applied with a swipe of the actual lipstick. To finish, Tina applied Dior Addict Ultra Gloss in Satin Peach #236 to the center of the lips and blotted slightly.

STEP 4: Christian Dior believed that fragrance was the finishing touch when dressing. Make your night memorable to the senses with a light spritz of Miss Dior Cherie, a fragrance that captures the charm of Dior in a bottle with notes of mandarin, jasmine and patchouli.
