A vintage, European-inspired shower overflowing with delectable treats and mouth-watering sweets? I think we may have just entered my own personal heaven. This Chicago bride-to-be sure is a lucky gal to have such an incredible mom to throw her a lovely and tasty event and to have an amazing planner and designer in A Perfect Event to put the whole sweet soiree together! From A Perfect Event...Ariel is from Chicago, and Paul from London. They met in Rome when both traveling there for work, while she lived in NYC and he in London. She moved to London to be together, and once engaged planned a beautiful, English Garden style Chicago wedding. As Ariel's wedding planner and florist I worked with her darling mother to create a surprise bridal shower reminiscent of all the beautiful european patisseries she covets. We designed the entire party around her wedding color palette, apricot, pink and chartruese green. This is such a fun way to see your wedding day decor come to life in advance of the wedding weekend itself. Since the wedding day was a spring weekend in Chicago - the vintage Audrey Hepburn-esque scarves by Pop-n-Go were a throw back favor to add style and panache to a blustery "windy city" day if needed for around town photos.
