Park Plaza Wedding by Dandelion and Grey + Fleuretica + Jessica Feely

Let me put a few things out in the open here – since we are all friends. I love ALL types of weddings (hence me spending day after day gushing over them). I seriously do not judge, they all have a place in my heart. Seriously. But I have to admit that affairs so classically elegant they could have been held last weekend or in 1930 really makes my romantic self start swooning. Blame it on Humphrey Bogart. Can you really blame my love affair with this wedding when the darling Erin of Dandelion and Grey and the lovelies at Fleuretica had their hands on it? No you cannot. You can see even more of the romance captured by Jessica Feely in the full gallery of images.

From the Bride…Our wedding day was unique because it was a true expression of me and Mat.  We wanted our wedding to look timeless and dreamy without looking too trendy or cliche.  I was inspired by the classic ballroom wedding and the clean look of white and cream but I wanted also lot of texture in the floral designs and wedding decor with accents of grey, gold, blush pink, sage, and black.  I envisioned a modern Grace Kelly styled wedding with pretty, classic, feminine details.

It was four months ’til my wedding day and through my coworker, I miraculously found Erin from Dandelion and Grey who helped me style the wedding and work on the subtle details that make the wedding day so unique. We were able to gather inspiration photos from various wedding blogs and magazines to come up with the ultimate wedding decor and vision. We went through one detail at a time and executed on them by finding the perfect votive holders and mini succulents to accent our floral arrangements and going to the flea market together to find vintage antique mirrors to place the floral arrangements on top of.

Mat and I took extra time putting together the details that were near and dear to our hearts.  For example, Mat and I selected our favorite restaurants for the table names, created a customized wedding crossword puzzle for our reception, and selected our favorite unique ice cream flavors like earl grey for the ice cream truck.  Our wedding day was truly a joyous occasion when we saw all our closest friends and family together for one day.  It was a dream to see all the customized wedding details come together and have our guests come and enjoy their meals and the ambiance the way we intended them to.
