Winnipeg Summer Wedding from Moore Photography

If there were a Most Stunning Couple of the Year award, these two would surely get it. The drama, the glamour, the fabulousity of these images from Moore Photography guarantee the heck out of it. This Canadian wedding has got me convinced I need to be packing my bags, getting out of the 100+ degree heat and heading north to that sweet country above us. Who’s in? In all seriousness though, this fabulous affair is so gorgeous we’ve all been mesmerized by the fantastic photos for days. This morning it’s your turn. First here, then Moore’s blog for more.

Chad and I have known each other since we were kids, but because there is a six year age difference between us we never talked much. As I got older, we started to get to know each other and talked all the time, becoming great friends. We started going out for dinner and movies and loved going for our walks down Cordyn or through Assiniboine Park. We have both been through a lot together which really made us realize how much we need each other in life. He surprised me with a romantic dinner at an elegant restaurant in Assiniboine Park and asked me to spend the rest of my life with him.

We decided not to have a big wedding and looked forward to having a very intimate wedding with our immediate family.  It only felt right to have the ceremony at the conservatory in Assiniboine Park, especially because it was going to be a summer wedding. Our favorite, most elegant and classy restaurant, 529 Wellington, was perfect for our intimate dinner reception. The four walls of the small room with a large hand painted mural surrounding us made the room so bright and vibrant. The center of the table was filled with hydrangeas and roses. My dress was Vera Wang with a Vera Wang sash with Swarovski crystals.

Our day was very relaxed and enjoyable as there was not too much stress involved in the planning of our simple day. When we were done taking pictures right outside Assiniboine Park, we had left my bouquet up along a tree. Two minutes after driving away, I realized this and we raced back and it was already gone. Just as we were about to continue on the most caring girl jumped out of her car behind us. She followed us to make sure I got my bouquet!

I give a huge thank you to my photographer Curtis Moore who made our day more then it could have been! Capturing the best moments that we get to savor for the rest of our lives. We are so happy he was a part of it all.
